Job summary

Regeneron is seeking a Senior Principal Scientist of Microscopy to lead the Imaging Sciences microscopy function in its discovery programs in Tarrytown, NY. You will set the scientific strategy for cellular imaging and oversee cross-functional facility operations.

You will lead advanced microscopy approaches, evaluate emerging technologies, mentor a high-performing team, and build partnerships across research teams to advance translational science and early therapeutics.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in relevant biological or physical sciences.
• 5+ years postdoctoral/industry experience.
• Proven leadership in microscopy core facilities.
• Expertise in advanced microscopy techniques, cell biology, optical physics, and image analysis.
• Track record of research publications.
• Project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Set scientific strategy for cellular imaging.
• Evaluate emerging microscopy technologies.
• Provide expert consultation on experimental design.

• Manage operational planning.
