Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Tarrytown, NY is seeking a Senior Principal Scientist of Microscopy to lead the Imaging Sciences microscopy function. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, drive strategic imaging initiatives, and integrate new technologies with translational programs.

The role requires a Ph.D. in a relevant field, 5+ years of leadership in microscopy, and a strong publication record. This on-site position collaborates across discovery, translational, platform, and data

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Cellular Physiology, Developmental Biology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant postdoctoral and/or industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading a microscopy core facility or equivalent.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced microscopy to address complex biological questions.
• Strong publication record with leadership as a primary or senior contributor in microscopy-driven research.
• Deep knowledge of cell biology, optical physics, imaging instrumentation, and quantitative analysis.
• Experience selecting and optimizing advanced microscopy platforms.
• Proven track record in mentoring scientific staff and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Define a strategic roadmap for Regeneron's microscopy capabilities.
• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary microscopy team and promote scientific rigor.
• Adopt emergent imaging technologies, AI analytics, and integrated workflows.
• Collaborate with discovery, translational, platform, and data science teams.
• Oversee capital equipment plans and program governance.
• Mentor scientists and train researchers in imaging practices.
