Job summary

Lilly is constructing a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Lebanon, Indiana, for gene therapy and advanced therapies. The Sr. Principal Chemist acts as a site SME, supporting new product introductions, qualification and validation of analytical methods, and routine testing to ensure product quality and regulatory readiness.

This is an multi-disciplinary role within the LP2 Quality Control laboratory. The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, method transfer, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry/molecular biology or related science.
• 7+ years of advanced therapy experience in gene therapy, LVV, LNP, or AAV.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a site SME for gene therapy analytical methods and support the Site QC Lead.
• Execute assays in support of in-process, release, and stability testing with GMP compliance.
• Support lab readiness, equipment and method readiness, and lifecycle management of methods.
• Collaborate with Technical Services/Manufacturing Science, Analytical Development, QA, and external partners.
