Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an OPEN RANK Research Services Professional (Senior - Principal) in the Division of Pulmonary Sciences and Critical Care Medicine. The role focuses on post-award grant management, financial reporting, and compliance across on-campus and remote settings.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (2-3 days on campus in Aurora, CO) and opportunities to collaborate with leading researchers in a dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, research, communications, marketing, business administration, business, or other closely related field.
• Two (2) years of professional-level experience in sponsored project administration.
• Substitution: education/experience may substitute for degree, but not for the specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates and monitors monthly financial reports for all PIs with research funding and reports for leadership.
• Ensures award setup reflects terms and conditions; requests rebudgeting as required.
• Prepares documentation for OGC to draft subcontracts; monitors contract execution, invoicing and compliance.
• Reviews expenditures to ensure adherence to policies and sponsor rules.
• Completes Journal Entries and Payroll Expense transfers on grant accounts.
• Works with Pre-Award Coordinator to process progress reports and RPPRs.
