Job summary
Ladders is seeking a Senior Principal, Business Management - Debt to drive debt execution across renewable energy transactions. This remote role focuses on moving opportunities from qualification through close, coordinating with lenders and capital providers to improve velocity and quality of execution.
The ideal candidate brings deep project finance debt expertise in solar, wind, and storage, with a proven ability to mentor deal teams and present to investment decision-makers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field required (MBA/JD a plus).
- 10+ years experience; 7+ years in renewable energy project finance or structured lending.
- Deep expertise in project finance debt structures for solar, wind, storage.
- Experience presenting transactions to credit/investment committees.
Responsibilities
- Lead a book of debt mandates from IOI through close as primary negotiator.
- Own transaction velocity and close rates to drive revenue and P&L.
- Author credit memos and present transactions to Credit Committee.
- Lead deal teams, staff transactions and mentor juniors.
