Pratt & Whitney in Marlborough, MA, is seeking an experienced software engineer to investigate and implement on-prem LLM and agentic AI workflows. The role focuses on real-time C++/CUDA signal processing for sensor systems on a distributed Linux backend.

The position requires a STEM degree with 10+ years of experience, Linux development, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is mandatory for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• C++ software development experience in Linux environments.
• Experience deploying on-prem LLM and agentic AI.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and implement on-prem LLM and agentic harness in a sandboxed environment.
• Develop real-time C++ and/or CUDA implementations of signal processing algorithms for sensor systems on distributed Linux backend.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to satisfy requirements.
• Analyze numerical correctness and runtime latency.
• Maintain high code quality by supporting code reviews and CI.
