Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks an Electrical Engineer for the Mk21 AFA Product Realization Team. You will work on design, development, qualification, and production support for critical weapon systems on site with occasional travel.

You will analyze performance, manage risks, and coordinate across SNL and KCNSC partners, contributing to rigorous program milestones and documentation updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus five years of directly relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance or equivalent (e.g., DoD Top Secret).

Responsibilities

• Support resolution of technical and programmatic challenges across internal and external organizations.
• Demonstrate technical acumen by identifying and managing technical risks.
• Analyze system performance against requirements.
• Assess, plan, and report progress relative to a program plan.
• Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and technicians across SNL and KCNSC to solve challenges.
• Update design definitions and documentation.
