Saab is seeking a Principal Program Manager to drive profitable execution of development programs within the Surveillance division, onsite at the East Syracuse, NY office. The role requires extensive experience with large-scale radar systems and a strong background in EVMS, scheduling, cost accounting, and program management best practices.

You will lead budgeting, risk and opportunity management, and collaborate with Sales and Product Management to identify growth opportunities while developing

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of Program Management experience with $50M–$100M+ program lifecycles in aerospace/defense.
• Experience negotiating multi-million dollar agreements with large Aerospace and Defense customers.
• Proven track record leading large-scale aerospace and defense business capture efforts.
• Advanced knowledge of program management standards and best practices (scheduling, cost accounting, EVMS, Risk/Opportunity management).
• Ability to contribute to development strategy and lead strategic initiatives.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% in support of program and business.

Responsabilidades

• Accountable for cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned program portfolios.
• Establish and control program budgets aligned with needs.
• Ensure projects are managed within approved PM processes.
• Make personnel recommendations to support objectives.
• Drive Earned Value Management principles and report program status.
• Identify and pursue significant new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Product Management to maintain competitive landscape knowledge.
• Develop high-quality competitive proposals to meet segment objectives.
• Collaborate across functions to leverage execution and capture strategies.
• Grow relationships with customers and industry primes for new deployments.
