Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Principal Process Engineer in Baton Rouge, LA, to lead multi-discipline engineering and start-up activities across refinery and chemical processes. You will oversee project delivery, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering with process design or project development, plus 5+ years in supervisory or PM roles.

Qualifications

BS in Chemical Engineering is required.
10+ years engineering experience including Process Design or Project Development.
5+ years supervisory, project management and/or technical experience.
Experience with refinery and chemical process projects.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate multi-discipline engineering and construction staff to ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective project execution.
Coordinate project activities to support the Project Manager and the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
Act as the primary technical coordination interface with client and site to meet expectations.
Manage risk register, gate readiness, RFP development, materials, and scope of work.
Ensure the project conforms to regulatory and code requirements.
Provide accurate, timely reports to management.
Communicate effectively with the team and third parties.
