Job summary

Worley seeks a Senior Principal Process Engineer for the Monrovia, CA office to lead complex process work streams in the oil and gas sector. You will drive conceptual design, simulations, and deliverables while mentoring engineers across multidisciplinary projects.

The role requires at least 15 years of experience in process engineering, refinery exposure, and strong leadership in large teams. This is a full-time position based in California with a focus on delivering quality on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing medium/large process teams.
• Excellent front-end design capability with expertise in conceptual design and process simulation.
• Knowledge of local and international standards and statutory specifications.

Responsibilities

• Generation, review, and approval of Process deliverables (HMB, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs).
• Conducting Process studies and mentoring junior Process Engineers.
• Reviewing requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and supporting other disciplines.
• Manage process engineering services to meet specifications, on time and within budget.
• Provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
