Boehringer Ingelheim seeks a Senior Principal/Principal Scientist in Computational Safety to lead in silico safety assessments across drug discovery and development. This role uses multi-omics data, systems toxicology, and AI/ML to identify liabilities and support risk-based decisions.
You will partner with Toxicology, Discovery, Clinical Safety, Bioinformatics, Data Science and IT to translate complex computational findings for diverse stakeholders.
We are seeking a Senior Principal/ Principal Scientist, Computational Safety, to provide scientific leadership in in silico safety assessment across drug discovery and development. This role will leverage advanced multi omics data, systems toxicology and AI/ML approaches to proactively identify safety liabilities, support mechanistic understanding, improve quality target identification, and facilitate risk based decision making.

The base salary range for the Scientist II position is $140,000 to $222,000.
The base salary range for the Scienitst III position is $170,0000 to $269,000.
The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements. We continuously review market data and may adjust salary ranges as needed in the future.
