Roche's Genentech division seeks a senior scientist to develop and execute Foundational Data and Models strategy in Computational Neuroscience within the CS-CoE. The role focuses on accelerating neurodegenerative disease research through advanced data mining, AI agents, and integrative analyses.

Onsite presence at the South San Francisco campus is expected for at least 3 days a week. Relocation benefits are available, and a discretionary annual bonus may be offered based on performance.

Formación

• PhD or equivalent with in-depth training in a relevant field.
• Successful postdoctoral research or ≥3 years after PhD (Senior Scientist) or Principal Scientist experience.

Responsabilidades

• Extend Roche’s data ecosystems to accelerate the Neuroscience portfolio.
• Develop strategy to mine large data and drive science using LLMs, automation, and AI agents.
• Analyze and integrate human genetic, single-cell atlases, perturbation data to derive insights into neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory diseases.
• Nominate new entries to Neuroscience department Target Assessment Portfolio and identify new biomarkers.
• Serve as computational lead on pipeline programs, supporting target validation, mechanism of action, safety and biomarker studies.
