Job summary

SRC, Inc. seeks a Senior Principal Mission Engineer to support the U.S. Air Force's Big Safari program at Wright-Patterson AFB.

You will provide advisory services enabling rapid development, integration, test, and fielding of EMBM across EW, SIGINT, ISR, and C4ISR mission systems. You will develop CONOPS, write ICDs, assess risk, and present technical briefings to senior Government leaders while collaborating with government and industry partners to advance mission capability and cross-domain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/technical field and 15+ years of experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience supporting DoD acquisition and mission engineering programs.
• Experience with EW/SIGINT/ISR/C4ISR and EMSO.
• Understanding of mission engineering, systems engineering, and CONOPS.

Responsibilities

• Provide mission engineering across the acquisition lifecycle including requirements, systems integration, and test.
• Advise leadership on EMBM modernization strategies and risk reduction.
• Develop operational concepts, mission threads, and CONOPS for EMBM capabilities.
• Refine EMBM requirements, ICDs, and engineering documentation.
• Review contractor products for compliance with government requirements.
• Support OMS, MOSA, AMS GRA, and UCI standards integration.
• Assist multi-domain mission systems integration and flight/test activities.
• Prepare assessments and executive briefings for senior government leadership.
