Job summary

Northrop Grumman Cincinnati is seeking a Sr. Principal Hardware Test Engineer to join the SEIT team in Cincinnati, OH, focusing on verification across the program life cycle.

This 100% onsite role involves developing test plans, executing qualification testing, and leading cross-functional testing with hardware, software, and systems engineers. Applicants should have a STEM degree with extensive test experience and hold a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related test experience, or a Master’s Degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 3 years.
• Experience authoring test plans and hardware test procedures.
• Leadership of System Test efforts in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with hardware test execution, diagnostics, and verification with traceability.
• Proficient with standard test equipment and tools (RF meters, analyzers, scopes, generators).
• Active US Government Top Secret security clearance is required; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware test requirements and detailed integration test plans and reports.
• Execute hardware qualification testing per requirements and procedures.
• Lead cross-functional testing with hardware, software, and systems engineers.
• Conduct formal technical reviews (TRRs) with stakeholders and customers.
• Manage test equipment design, development, and data acquisition systems.
• Analyze test data to identify anomalies and root causes.
