Job summary

Northrop Grumman Cincinnati is seeking a Principal Hardware Test Engineer to join the SEIT team in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves developing and executing hardware test plans, performing integration testing, and coordinating with cross-functional teams in a 100% on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of related test experience, or a Master’s Degree with 3 years, or a PhD with 1 year.
• Experience authoring hardware test procedures and managing hardware test facility interfaces.
• Experience with hardware test execution, diagnostics, and verification with traceability.
• Strong knowledge of standard test equipment: RF meters, generators, analyzers, oscilloscopes, and more.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW, MATLAB, and Python; familiarity with test interfaces like Ethernet, USB, GPIB, RS-232/422.
• Active US Government Secret security clearance or ability to obtain; US Citizenship required.
• On-site work is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware test requirements and detailed integration test plans, procedures, TRRs, data, and reports.
• Execute hardware qualification testing in accordance with requirements and plans.
• Conduct hardware tests and manage problem resolution across teams.
• Lead cross-functional testing with hardware, software, and systems engineers.
• Conduct technical reviews such as Test Readiness Reviews with stakeholders and customers.
