Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S. with ability to obtain Hawaii licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
• Strong technical expertise with geotechnical analysis methods, software, and sound engineering judgment.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and engage with clients, contractors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical projects from proposal through completion, managing scope, budget, schedule, and staff while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Plan and direct subsurface investigations and perform advanced analyses for foundations, slopes, retaining systems, and earthwork, applying sound engineering judgment.
• Lead preparation and review of geotechnical reports and calculations, serving as Engineer of Record.
• Provide construction support and work closely with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.

Duties:

This position is responsible for evaluating subsurface conditions and providing geotechnical engineeringsupport for a variety of construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will analyze soil, rock, andgroundwater conditions to support the design of foundations, earthworks, and other geotechnical systems thatensure the stability and safety of structures.

Education/Qualifications:
