Job summary

Action Environmental seeks a Senior Principal Environmental Engineer / Engineer of Record to lead large-scale remediation programs across Florida and the Southeast, taking ultimate design accountability and guiding multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires interfacing with the EPA and state agencies, overseeing RD/RA through construction, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality deliverables. Hybrid Florida work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Florida professional engineer (P.E.) license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 15 years of environmental engineering/remediation experience.
• Proven Engineer of Record or lead design on large remediation projects.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Extensive field and construction oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Sign, seal, review, and approve critical engineering deliverables and construction documents.
• Lead end-to-end Remedial Design and Remedial Action through site closeout.
• Direct multidisciplinary engineering disciplines and subcontractors.
• Serve as liaison to EPA and state agencies for technical matters.
• Provide technical direction for complex field operations and restoration.
• Drive quality assurance, regulatory adherence, and mentoring.
