Job summary

Action Environmental is seeking a senior environmental engineer to serve as Engineer of Record on large remediation projects in Florida. The role leads remedial design through construction, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with EPA and state regulators to ensure compliance and quality.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in environmental engineering/remediation, with demonstrated experience as lead design engineer for complex projects and a track record of mentoring staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in good standing. Other SE states an additional benefit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of environmental engineering / remediation experience.
• Experience serving as Engineer of Record or lead design engineer for complex environmental remediation projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing specialty subcontractors or consultants.
• Strong experience with environmental construction, remedial design, and construction oversight.
