Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Senior Principal Engineer - Survivability to join our team in Palmdale, CA or Rancho Bernardo, CA. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8+ years of related engineering experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
• RF/antenna functionality knowledge with RF integration & testing.
• Experience in Survivability/Low Observables and radar cross section/RF signature concepts.
• Experience in Systems Engineering, LRU integration & testing, and supplier management.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance or eligibility/continuing evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system requirements; architecture & drawings; procurements specs, ICDs, and Statements of Work.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors as part of Supplier Management Team.
• Establish and coordinate test plans, support test execution, and conduct post-test data analysis.
• Communicate risks, issues, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Global Supply Chain, Facilities, IT and Security.
