Northrop Grumman Corp. is hiring for a Senior engineering role focused on space electronics design and supplier coordination in a government-cleared environment.

The candidate will evaluate EEEE components, develop data drawings, and liaise with vendors to resolve qualification and producibility issues. This position requires US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance, with relocation assistance potentially available.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in science; 6 years with a master's; 4 years with a PhD.
• Experience in military/space electronics design or manufacturing.
• Familiar with the selection and application of EEEE components.
• Experience with the development of associated component data/drawings and the selection of EEEE parts to meet program/project objectives and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with design engineers in selection and application of EEEE parts, including microcircuits, connectors, passive devices, and PCBs.
• Create component specifications or source control documents to meet program requirements.
• Work with manufacturing and component vendors to resolve qualification, producibility, and test issues with parts and circuit card assemblies.
• Review bill-of-materials, new part approval requests, and part attributes in a PLM system.
• Support supply chain with component procurement requirements, selection of suppliers, and resolution of procurement issues.
• Support program subcontractors with EEEE part requirements interpretation and review of SDRLs.
