Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in a Technical Leadership role (Principal, Staff or Architect).
• Strong systems design: microservices, event-driven, Domain-Driven Design.
• Expert in AWS or GCP with 3+ years of IaC (Terraform).
• DevOps mindset: CI/CD, observability, reliability engineering.
• APIs, pub-sub, containers, data platforms knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of shared, centralized systems across lines of business.
• Evaluate legacy systems, architecture, and migration paths.
• Define guardrails, patterns, and best practices for scalable platforms.
• Partner with product and leadership to shape future platform needs.
• Hands-on coding about 50% of time; prototype, refactor, and guide teams.
