Job summary

Grandstand in the United States is seeking a high-scope technical leader to shape the strategy and architecture behind our web and backend systems. You’ll design, build, and ship directly while guiding technical direction across teams, partnering with engineering, product, and leadership to ensure we build the right things the right way.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery for data-heavy, high-scale workloads, mentor engineers, and drive performance and reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Python/Go experience.
• Strong system design judgment and cross-team influence.
• Ability to ship end-to-end on high-scale data workloads.
• Comfort in a dynamic environment with biweekly prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical strategy and architecture across full stack (Python, Go).
• Lead hands-on implementation and code reviews to ship scalable features.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across teams.
• Collaborate with Product and Growth to launch features rapidly.
