Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Application Delivery and Software Development.
• Mastery of the Java/Linux technology stack, including application servers, backend processing, and web tier development.
• Deep experience in developing on large parallel (Linux) platforms.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Acceptance Criteria, Automated Testing, Test-Driven Development, Defect Tracking, and Test Case management.
• Advanced-level experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Solr/Lucene, and related technologies.
• Strong proficiency with development and integration tools, including Eclipse, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Unit test Framework, and Tools.
• Proven track record in programming within large-scale distributed environments, with a keen understanding of concurrency issues.
• Demonstrated experience leading application delivery teams, with a focus on driving team success and project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Agile Delivery teams in creating innovative software applications, services, and systems.
• Partner with teammates and product owners to groom backlogs of epics and stories for upcoming development sprints.
• Spearhead automated testing, change control, DevOps and continuous delivery initiatives.
• Foster influential relationships across the organization and prepare the team for future leadership roles.
• Mentor team members and stay current with technology trends to elevate the team's skills.
