Job summary

The American Chemical Society (ACS) is seeking a Sr Cloud Engineer/Architect to design and implement scalable, secure AWS cloud solutions for ACS Publications and related services. The role will involve hands‑on development with a small team across Washington, D.C. and Columbus, OH facilities.

You will lead automation, IaC, and CI/CD efforts, collaborate with software and AI engineers, and mentor juniors while ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years cloud engineering/development experience.
