Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Principal Embedded Software Engineer to lead flight software for missiles and UAS. You will define architecture, ensure real-time performance, and integrate closely with hardware in constrained environments.

The role requires deep C/C++ expertise, hands-on embedded development across MCUs, DSPs and FPGAs, RTOS experience (VxWorks/FreeRTOS/Green Hills), and DoD aerospace program familiarity. U.S. citizenship and TS preferred.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of embedded software experience in aerospace or DoD programs.
• Expert-level C/C++ for resource-constrained embedded systems.
• DO-178C familiarity and RMF risk-management mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded software architecture for weapon systems and autonomous platforms.
• Develop low-level drivers, middleware, and application software for MCUs, DSPs, and FPGAs.
• Oversee RTOS selection and deterministic, thread-safe design.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce secure coding standards.
