Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional embedded software experience, with DoD aerospace or missile defense context.
• Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ for resource-constrained embedded systems.
• Familiarity with DoD airworthiness standards and RMF requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural definition of embedded software for weapon systems and autonomous platforms.
• Develop low-level drivers and middleware for MCUs, DSPs, and FPGAs (SoC).
• Architect RTOS-based solutions (VxWorks, FreeRTOS, Green Hills) for deterministic behavior.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers for HITL testing and timing diagnostics.
• Implement flight control laws and EKF/GNC algorithms for embedded targets.
• Lead SDLC through DoD milestones; mentor junior developers in secure coding.
