The role requires designing embedded hardware, power supplies, sensors, and interfaces, while guiding projects from concept to production. You will collaborate across engineering and product teams, ensure compliance with UL/ULC, CE, and FCC standards, and drive cost, schedule, and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electronics design involving analog, power, audio, or embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of discrete electronic components and component-level circuit design.
• Experience with electronic CAD tools, including schematic capture and circuit simulation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
• Experience transitioning products from development into manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze analog and digital electronics, including embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceive, develop, and release new products into production.
• Assume overall technical project leadership for hardware product development, ensuring compliance with product specifications, schedules, cost targets, and performance requirements.
• Work in a collaborative team environment to develop innovative solutions that meet product needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, primarily electrical and mechanical, with responsibility for project cost, schedule, and design execution.
• Operate effectively at both the component and system levels, including hardware design, software integration, packaging, and system architecture.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and engineering procedures.
• Partner closely with Product Management to define and refine product requirements.
• Design products to meet applicable regulatory and agency certifications, including UL, ULC, CE, and FCC standards.
