Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer for our Westford, MA R&D facility to design electronic analog and digital hardware for new fire alarm products and support existing lines. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with Product Management to meet specifications.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 8–12 years of experience in analog/power/audio/embedded designs, and on-site work three days per week in Westford.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 8–12 years in electronics design (analog, power, audio or embedded).
• Low-current analog design experience.
• Discrete component-level knowledge.
• Experience with electronic CAD tools.
• Team player across multi-country teams.
• Experience transitioning products to manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Design analog and digital hardware for fire alarm products.
• Work on microcontroller and embedded system design.
• Collaborate to conceive, develop, and release new products to production.
• Lead small cross-functional teams, handling costing and scheduling.
• Define product specifications with Product Management.
• Design to meet agency certifications (UL, ULC, CE, FCC).
• Be on-site at the Westford facility 3 days a week.
