- Develop bare-metal firmware in C for microcontrollers (e.g., PIC) and/or VHDL for FPGAs or CPLDs.
- Perform end-to-end development from requirements analysis to concept, design, testing, and verification.
- Create plans for hardware testing and prototype fielding to facilitate transition to production.
- Collaborate with engineering team members to ensure cohesive integration of all sub-systems.
- Ensure project compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and technical expertise across departments, solving complex problems with innovative solutions.
- Achieve results efficiently within expected time and budget constraints.
- Manage risks and identify opportunities for improvement proactively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 18 years of experience in analog/digital circuit design with embedded software/firmware development.
- Proficiency in C programming for microcontrollers and VHDL/Verilog for firmware.
- A record of creativity and innovation recognized as an authority in engineering.
- Hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting complex hardware and firmware circuits.
- Passion for electronics and hardware design, with creative and critical thinking skills.
- Strong E-CAD skills, preferably with Altium.
- Experience in systems-level electronics architecture development.
People & Communication Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience presenting design progress during project milestones.
Nice To Haves:
- Leadership skills or desire to grow into a supervisory role.
- Experience with MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 testing.
- Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously.
- PIC or ARM microcontroller experience.
- Mechanical skills for prototype testing and verification.
- Ability to produce engineering drawings and documentation, understanding DFM principles.
- Strong physics and electronics fundamentals.
What You Can Expect:
- Opportunities to innovate and transition prototypes into products, with rewards for success.
- Work on new technologies and implement elegant solutions to meet customer needs.
- Leadership support and resources to ensure success.
