Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Andover, MA seeks a Senior Engineer (Electrical) to lead electrical architecture for infusion devices, designing analog, digital, mixed-signal and power circuits while driving cross-functional projects in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience troubleshooting and solving problems.
• 3+ years in a regulated industry; medical preferred.
• Expert knowledge in analog, mixed-signal, and power circuit design.
• Experience with medical electrical safety and IEC 60601 certification processes.
• Proficient in design description documentation.
• Experience with interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth).
• Experience with motor control (Stepper/BLDC) and data acquisition.
• Familiar with PSpice, ORCAD Capture and Allegro PCB.
• CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB design.
• Strong teamwork and agile leadership.
• Ability to diagnose across multiple disciplines (mechanical/electrical/software).
• Mentor/test team supervision.
• Attention to detail and hands-on lab work.
• Task prioritization and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical architecture definition for Fresenius Kabi infusion devices.
• Lead design and development of electrical architecture and related circuits.
• Design analog, digital, mixed-signal and power circuits; investigate new technologies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform system tests across product lifecycle.
• Propose innovative, cross-disciplinary solutions; advise senior management.
• Establish engineering documentation best practices within the team.
• Assess risks and develop test plans with regression testing.
• Apply design verification and validation per SOPs; ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor team members.
• Lead in an agile environment and train junior engineers.
