Job summary

Bitsight is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to shape how we build and run our cloud platform. You will sit at the intersection of architecture and hands-on delivery, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to define infrastructure direction and investments.

You'll own platform architecture across AWS with growing footprints in GCP/Azure, set SLOs, run Kubernetes at scale, and build reusable infrastructure as code with Terraform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure, SRE or DevOps roles with seniority.
• Deep AWS expertise (EKS, RDS, S3, IAM) and cloud skills across AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Strong Terraform skills with modular design adopted by teams.
• Production Kubernetes experience with Helm and GitOps workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own platform architecture and infrastructure decisions across AWS, with growth in GCP and Azure.
• Set SLOs for core services and drive incident response and post-mortems.
• Run Kubernetes at scale, manage EKS clusters, capacity planning and access models.
• Write and maintain Terraform modules used by product teams; retire old infra.
