Job summary

Gearset Limited is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to help scale and secure our multi-tenant SaaS platform. You’ll own infrastructure that runs in multiple regions on AWS and Kubernetes, enabling rapid delivery and reliability for thousands of teams.

You will shape the technical roadmap with autonomy, collaborate across teams, and drive security improvements while keeping downtime to a minimum. This is a remote role based in the UK, with generous benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform in production environments.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Previous experience running hosted SaaS at scale, multi-tenant architecture.
• Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback and iterating on solutions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve multi-tenant infrastructure to scale for a growing user base.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure harmonious changes with safe rollouts.
• Lead security initiatives to protect customer data and compliance.
• Build and maintain automation to enable rapid product releases.
• Contribute to a self-directed team with roadmap ownership.
