Job summary

USANA Health Sciences seeks a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead cloud and AI infrastructure strategy across AWS and private cloud. You will architect and guide platform standards for Bedrock-backed agents, AgentCore workloads, and high-throughput LLM serving at enterprise scale.

You will mentor engineers, define deployment patterns, and ensure secure, scalable operations with Dynatrace for observability. This hybrid role is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure role.
• 8+ years administering EKS or Kubernetes at enterprise scale.
• Proficient in Bash and Python scripting with hands-on experience.
• 8+ years CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or similar.
• 8+ years AWS services knowledge: EC2, VPC, S3, EKS, IAM, CloudFront, ALB/NLB, RDS.

Responsibilities

• Architect and articulate cloud and AI platform strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead team members, manage work, and set technical direction for cloud and AI platform practices.
• Collaborate with architects to define, design, and validate solutions for platform workloads on AWS.
• Define platform standards for AI deployment, including model versioning and reliability.
• Administer Amazon EKS at enterprise scale, with multi-cluster federation and policies.
• Design observability strategies with Dynatrace, including SLOs and cost dashboards.
