Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Principal Solutions Architect for Network Interconnect Technology to shape how memory and storage interconnects drive AI-scale datacenters.

You will defineArchitectural direction, lead cross-functional initiatives, and translate interconnect concepts into product requirements while influencing ecosystem partners across electrical and optical fabrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in optical interconnect, high-speed networking, silicon photonics, or datacenter system architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in system-level interconnect architecture, high-speed I/O, or AI/datacenter fabrics.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Proven ability to engage strategically with customers and industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Own Micron’s long-term network and optical interconnect strategy aligned to AI-scale and hyperscale datacenter needs.
• Define system and interconnect architectures across electrical and optical fabrics, endpoints, and scale-up/scale-out topologies.
• Lead deep technical engagements with hyperscale customers and ecosystem partners to evaluate trends and drive adoption.
• Translate architectural direction into product requirements and roadmaps with business, R&D, and engineering teams.
• Communicate system-level tradeoffs and recommendations clearly to senior technical and executive audiences.
