Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Senior Principal Cyber Engineer to lead technical efforts in cyber engineering, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with clients to deliver secure solutions. The role involves hands-on development, source control, and frequent travel to customer sites for test events.

The ideal candidate will hold a TS/SCI clearance, a STEM degree, 10+ years of engineering experience, and deep knowledge of C/C++ on Unix/Linux, Python, and memory management.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a government clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s in STEM with 10+ years of engineering experience, or equivalent.
• Experience with C/C++ on Unix/Linux; familiarity with Make/CMake build systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical efforts within the cyber engineering team.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients on requirements.
• Travel to customer sites for test events and on-site assessments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and project plans.
