  • Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.
  • Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues.
  • Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and customer contact activities.
  • Review and analyze RFPs to understand SOW/contract requirements and advise program team.

The Senior Principal Contract Administrator (CA) will have significant visibility within key programs including support of Division, Sector, and Corporate level submittals & reviews. The CA will be directly involved in negotiations with customers as a strategic team member. Opportunities exist within the Multidomain Sensing, Targeting and Survivability (MSTS) Division and will support the Land & Maritime Sensors (LMS) Business Unit in the Advanced Land Sensors (ALS) Organizational Unit.Roles and Responsibilities:As an integral member of the LMS Business Unit, the Candidates will:Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contractsAct as primary interface with customer for contractual issuesSupport proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with Company policies, legal requirements, and customer specificationsReview and analyze customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to understand Statements of Work (SOW)/contract requirements and advise the program team on terms and conditionsReview terms and conditions to address provisions and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification, and all other potential risk areas and recommending risk mitigation strategies.Ensure Company proposals are fully responsive to customer requirements, coordinate appropriate levels of internal review for approval prior to submissionManage proposal fact-finding and conduct negotiations with customer with support from the program teamCollaborate with other functional groups (finance, supply chain, mission assurance, legal, etc.) during all phases of the contract lifecycleWork under general supervision to develop solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure Company compliance with contract requirementsPrepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual mattersDuties may also include the preparation and maintenance of proprietary information agreements, memorandum of understanding and other types of agreementsMaintaining contract data into Contract Management System and/or Enterprise Accounting System.The CA must be able to manage tight deadlines and meet high-performance expectations in a complex and dynamic contracting environment. They must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and strong organizational and customer service skills.
