Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking cleared Principal Software Engineers in Cincinnati, OH, to join Xetron. You will work on cloud-based, full-stack applications with advanced algorithms and data fusion.

You will own architecture, build microservices, APIs, and interfaces, and contribute to mission-critical software for national security. The role requires self-motivation, an active Top-Secret clearance, US citizenship, and experience with Python, C, or C++.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field; or M.S. with relevant programming experience, or Ph.D.
• Experience for Python, C, or C++ in software solutions
• Experience leading development and mentoring junior engineers
• Active Top-Secret clearance and US citizenship required
• Experience integrating commercial software into custom solutions
• Full software lifecycle experience including operations and maintenance

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-based, full-stack software applications with advanced algorithms and data fusion
• Own architecture and design of decision support systems and analytic services
• Build and integrate microservices, APIs, and data pipelines
• Develop web-based UIs that integrate with backend processes and databases
• Work with cloud services, containers, and CI/CD in a real-world environment
