Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a senior Cloud and Identity Engineer to architect, deploy, and support modern multi-cloud environments with a primary focus on AWS.

The role blends engineering expertise with a strong customer-support mission, delivering cloud services and infrastructure components to meet expectations. Hybrid work in Falls Church, VA or remote with travel is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Proven experience deploying AWS multi-tenant environments using IaC such as Terraform and/or Ansible/YAML.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and support multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Acts as an Okta/Identity SME for the GDIT Emerge Labs.
• Oversee Emerge Labs certificate infrastructure and DNS.
• Deploy and manage AWS multi-tenant account structures, including networking, identity, governance, and security controls.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for IaC deployments to ensure consistent, reliable delivery.
• Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point, providing timely resolution and clear communication to Emerge Labs customers.
• Ensure that cloud services and deployments are fully delivered, validated, documented, and functioning as expected.
• Work directly with customers to understand requirements, track progress, resolve issues, and confirm successful delivery.
• Partner with internal engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to maintain secure and compliant cloud environments.
