Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years hands-on experience as a senior Principal Engineer leading multiple software teams.
• Expert knowledge in performance, scalability, and architecture of distributed systems.
• Proficient in modern programming languages (Java, Typescript, Python, Ruby).

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver advanced cross‑cutting cloud architectures and solutions for the Cloud BU.
• Lead technical projects and mentor senior/principal engineers across teams.
• Promote best engineering, QA, and operational practices within NetApp.
• Decompose complex problems and enable scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to balance objectives and customer needs.
• Build modern CD/CI infrastructure and cloud-native QA frameworks.
• Contribute to IP through patents.
