Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Principal CIAM Architect to lead architecture strategy for customer identity and access management across external-facing platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in IT/cybersecurity/software engineering or related technical disciplines.
• 5+ years as a Technical Architect for CIAM/IAM enterprise platforms.
• 5+ years delivering enterprise-scale identity and access management solutions.
• 5+ years in information security engineering, cybersecurity engineering, or software development.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and strategy for CIAM platforms supporting external users and customer-facing services.
• Define and maintain CIAM architecture standards, reference models, and design principles.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure identity solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for evaluation, selection, implementation, and enhancement of IAM technologies.
• Ensure platform security, availability, performance, monitoring, and operational readiness across CIAM environments.
• Maintain documentation in line with enterprise standards for technical, operational, audit, and security aspects.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to guide future-state architecture.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and assess new capabilities.
