Job summary

Cadence is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join the Palladium Software Development team. You will work with a small team of engineers to develop the next generation Palladium emulation platform, focusing on quality and innovation for Cadence emulation products used in multi-billion gate designs.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE STRONG C++ SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE.
• Distinguished C/C++/STL programmer with collaboration skills.
• Experience with latest C++23 features is a plus.
• Proficient in data structures and algorithm design, complexity and performance tradeoffs.
• Experience with Linux kernel and/or device drivers is desirable.
• Multi-threading and TCP/IP programming experience is a plus.
• Experience with industry simulation or emulation products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Writing C/C++ to implement the software and operating environment for the emulation platform and features.
• Designing the features, flows, and interfaces for the emulation platforms with other engineers.
• Writing functional, implementation, and test specifications for your code and features.
• Implementing unit, integration, and system tests for your code and features.
