Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Principal Architect to own the target‑state architecture for CDAS platforms (Reference Data, KYC, and trading data) and to drive modernization, governance, and AI adoption across data and analytics services. You will lead governance boards, collaborate with senior leadership, and mentor architecture teams to deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

You will champion security, resiliency, and data governance while shaping cross‑functional patterns and investment

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on architecture and software engineering concepts with 10+ years of applied experience.
Proven data architecture and governance expertise in large, regulated environments.
Experience leading architecture governance at portfolio scale and collaborating with ARB.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD, IaC, and observability.

Responsibilities

Owns target-state architectures for the CDAS tower, including Reference Data, KYC, and Common Trade/Position Data platforms.
Leads architecture governance, establishes design principles, guardrails, and review processes.
Drives modernization roadmap balancing debt reduction, resilience, scalability, cost, and time-to-market.
Chairs Architecture Review Boards and represents the tower in firmwide forums.
Interfaces with senior leaders, CTOs, and stakeholders to influence investments.
Mentors domain architects and engineering leads and guides complex design decisions.
Ensures governance, risk management, regulatory obligations, security, and resiliency across platforms.
