Job summary

TYG is seeking a Senior Principal to lead and grow its Building Envelope practice in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale market. This executive role merges technical expertise with business development to steer regional growth, client relationships, and project delivery. You will mentor teams, oversee façades and related systems, and partner with leadership to shape strategy in a dynamic market of commercial, hospitality and mixed-use projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of building envelope consulting experience.
• PE or RA license required.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of building enclosure systems, codes, and standards.
• Experience growing a consulting practice is a plus.

A nationally recognized architecture, engineering, and construction consulting firm is seeking a Senior Principal to lead and grow its Building Envelope practice in the Miami - Fort Lauderdale market.

This executive leadership role combines technical expertise with business development, overseeing complex building enclosure projects while expanding client relationships, mentoring teams and driving regional growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Building Envelope practice throughout South Florida.
• Develop executive-level relationships with owners, developers, architects and contractors.
• Drive business development, strategic pursuits and client growth.
• Lead complex projects involving façades, roofing, waterproofing, fenestration, rehabilitation and forensic investigations.
• Mentor technical staff and maintain high standards of quality and project delivery.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to shape business strategy and practice growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science or a related field.
• 15+ years of building envelope consulting experience.
• PE or RA license required.
• Proven experience leading complex projects, managing client relationships and growing a consulting practice.
• Strong knowledge of building enclosure systems, building codes and industry standards.
