Job summary

Jenkins Design Build is seeking a Senior Planner/Scheduler to own design-phase schedules and implement consistent scheduling practices across architecture, interiors, estimating, permitting, and construction. The role requires developing baselines, training project teams, and acting as the scheduling expert within the firm.

The successful candidate will lead scheduling standards, coordinate across departments, and oversee progress tracking, with a focus on luxury residential projects in Austin

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on project scheduling in residential construction or design-build contexts.
• Ability to explain schedule issues clearly to non-scheduling staff.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 CPM scheduling, baseline management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed design-phase schedules from kickoff through construction documents.
• Build sequences, durations, milestones, and dependencies; identify critical path.
• Collect progress weekly and compare forecasts to baselines; identify slippage and recovery actions.
• Issue weekly schedule reports and look-ahead with milestones and risks; review with teams.
• Develop initial construction baseline with leadership; hand off to PM at construction start.
