Job summary

MAAS Companies, Inc. is seeking a senior scheduler to lead and coordinate project schedules across Los Angeles campuses. You will review contractor plans, assess changes against contracts, and calculate impacts on budgets and timelines.

You will conduct time impact analyses and participate in change-order negotiations to protect project viability. You will also perform earned value analysis, monitor progress at sites, and ensure cost-loaded schedules align with cash flow requirements while

Qualifications

• 10 years of project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Advanced Primavera. Also MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Real experience with time impact analysis.
• Real experience with construction claims and change orders.
• Knowledge of cost engineering and scheduling practice.
• Bachelor's in architecture, engineering, construction management, business or related field; if no degree, extra years of experience can stand in.
• Willingness to work at more than one site and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Build and coordinate project schedules for the program.
• Review contractor schedules for contract compliance and quality.
• Evaluate change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule.
• Run time impact analysis on delays and potential claims; participate in negotiations.
• Run critical path and earned value analysis.
• Identify schedule problems early and recommend fixes.
• Visit sites for progress reporting.
• Review contractor weekly/monthly progress and present findings to management.
• Review and evaluate contractor recovery schedules.
• Do cost analysis across design and construction and build cost-loaded schedules for cash flow.
