Job summary

Humana Inc. CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Harlingen is seeking a physician to deliver comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patients, with a patient-centered, value-based approach and a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

This full-time role reports to the Associate Medical Director for the Rio Grande Valley, offers a 40-hour work week, a competitive pay range of $255,000–$298,500 per year, plus bonus eligibility and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• TB screening required if selected for this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Diagnose and manage moderately to complex medical conditions.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement projects.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
• Contribute to projects and innovations in care delivery.
