Job summary

Matrix Adhesives Group is seeking a Commercial & Pricing Analyst in Chicago to transform sales, pricing, and margin data into actionable insights. You will partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing/Product Management, and leadership to strengthen pricing discipline, forecasting, and decision support across multiple brands.

The role emphasizes data-driven storytelling, rigorous analysis, and the ability to move from detailed data to executive-level recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of pricing, commercial finance, sales operations, FP&A, or related analytics role; industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, data modelling, and scenario analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools to build clear dashboards for decision-makers.
• Working knowledge of ERP and CRM data structures; ability to integrate data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Analyze price realization, discounts, rebates, surcharges, and customer-specific pricing; identify leakage and suggest actions.
• Maintain pricing tools, price lists, workflows, and documentation; support consistent pricing actions across customers, products, brands, and channels.
• Build dashboards and recurring reports for revenue, gross margin, volume, price/mix, profitability, and KPIs.
• Translate data from ERP, CRM and BI tools into concise insights for commercial leaders and sales teams.
• Support annual plans, forecasts, and scenario analysis with customer-, product-, and channel-level analytics.
• Segment customers and products by growth, margin, and cost-to-serve to improve mix and resource allocation.
• Develop analyses for key accounts, cross-selling, new products, and contracts; quantify financial tradeoffs.
