Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Pricing Analyst to lead and support cost and price proposals for Federal IT services in Herndon, VA. You will build and audit complex Excel pricing models, analyze RFP/RFQ requirements, and coordinate inputs across Capture, Contracts, Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a quantitative field and 5+ years in pricing/cost estimation with Federal contracts, plus 2–3 days onsite in Herndon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or related quantitative field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive pricing, cost estimating, financial analysis, or proposal pricing experience supporting U.S. Federal Government services contracts; Federal IT services experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing Federal cost/price proposals and complex Excel-based pricing models with limited oversight.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with common Federal contract types, including FFP, T&M, LH, CPFF, and other cost-reimbursement structures.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with labor-based services pricing, including direct labor, indirect rates, escalation, other direct costs, subcontractor pricing, and fee/profit.
• Hybrid 2-3 days onsite in Herndon office

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the development of cost and price proposals for Federal IT services opportunities.
• Build, maintain, and quality-check complex Excel-based pricing models that address solicitation requirements and cost drivers.
• Analyze RFP/RFQ requirements, pricing instructions, evaluation criteria, and compliance requirements for the proposal team.
• Develop cost-volume schedules and coordinate pricing inputs across multiple teams.
• Assist in developing pricing strategies using competitive analysis, PTW, and market data.
• Prepare accurate, compliant, and audit-ready cost/price volumes and narratives.
• Facilitate pricing reviews with Pricing Director and senior leadership; explain assumptions and risks.
• Evaluate labor categories, staffing assumptions, compensation, and market wage data for pricing.
• Apply knowledge of Federal contracting requirements, FAR, CAS where applicable.
• Perform scenario and profitability analyses to support bid decisions and negotiation positions.
• Partner with program and operations to improve forecast accuracy and profitability.
• Manage multiple pricing assignments under tight proposal deadlines with strong version control.
