Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst in Huntsville to support pricing strategies for federal government proposals and contracts. You will prepare detailed cost proposals, pricing models, labor rate analyses, and financial evaluations across multiple government agencies.

Using Advanced Excel and financial modeling tools, you will build cost estimates for labor, subcontracts, materials, travel, and other direct costs while contributing to price-to-win strategies and cost realism

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pricing, cost estimating, or financial analysis for federal government.
• Experience developing pricing for federal proposals as Prime contractor.
• Familiar with FAR, DFARS, CAS and various contract vehicles.

Responsibilities

Job description

A client in the Huntsville area is looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join their team. This role supports the development of pricing strategies for federal government proposals and contracts including preparing details cost proposals, pricing models, labor rate analysis, and financial evaluations for prime and subcontract opportunities across multiple government agencies. The individual will analyze solicitation requirements, contract terms, labor categories, wage determinations, and indirect costs to create accurate and compliant pricing solutions for RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and task orders. Using advanced Excel and financial modeling tools, they will build detailed cost estimates covering labor, subcontractors, materials, travel, and other direct costs while supporting price-to-win strategies, cost realism assessments, profitability analysis, and competitive evaluations. The position works closely with Business Development, Capture, Program Management, Human Resources, Recruiting, Contracts, and Accounting teams to gather pricing inputs and develop winning proposals.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of Pricing, cost estimating, or financial analysis within the Federal Government industry
• Experience developing pricing for federal government proposals as a Prime contractor
• Understanding of FAR, DFARS, and CAS Experience with cost-plus, firm-fixed-price, time and materials, labor hour, and IDIQ contract vehicles
• Experience supporting bids across multiple DoW agencies
• Familiar with supporting SCA (service contract act) contracts and wage determinations
• Ability to obtain a government clearance
