Job summary

The Senior Pricing Actuary at IFG Companies plays a key role in supporting underwriting rating and quoting processes. Using actuarial methods, analytics and pricing tools, the SPA builds models that align with financial and competitive objectives while ensuring rate adequacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, risk management, economics, actuarial science or related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, preferably with a U.S. commercial insurer.
• FCAS designation is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rate indication studies to ensure profitability and support financial goals.
• Develop and maintain rating plans across underwriting portfolios.
• Collaborate with Underwriting and IT to implement rating logic and pricing in policy systems.
• Design analyses and tools to address pricing needs of underwriters for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with actuarial team in pricing, modeling and reserving to deliver insights.
